Stockdale & Leggo win People’s Choice “Stevie” award

Stockdale & Leggo was named a winner of a People’s Choice “Stevie” Award for Favourite Companies in the real estate category in The 14th Annual International Business Awards.

The award is in addition to the Gold Stevie Award that the group won in August after being judged by 200 executives worldwide who participated on 12 juries.

Stockdale & Leggo has over 70 offices throughout Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and the Northern Territory and were delighted to take out the real estate category for the People’s Choice “Stevie” Award for Favourite Companies in the real estate category in The 14th Annual International Business Awards.

Led by one of the industry’s few female COO’s Anna Thomas, Stockdale & Leggo has sold over $350B worth of real estate and helped more than 350,000 Australians achieve their real estate dreams.

Ms Thomas was delighted with the honour and that the 80 year old franchise group had secured top spot for the real estate category.

“The People’s Choice Award is such a wonderful accolade to win because it is the choice of the people rather than the industry and it is a true honour to be supported by our clients who have taken the time to vote on our behalf which makes this even more special for our group,” she said.

The crystal People’s Choice Stevie Awards will be presented to winners during a gala banquet on 21 October in Barcelona, Spain. More than 400 executives from over 30 nations are expected to attend. Peer-adjudicated Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners will also be recognized that evening.

The People’s Choice Stevie Awards for Favourite Companies are a feature of The International Business Awards. The worldwide public vote was conducted this summer, with the highest number of votes deciding the winners in a variety of company categories. More than 14,000 votes were cast.

All organizations honoured in the IBA’s Company of the Year categories were included in people’s choice voting.

More than 3,900 nominations were submitted to this year’s International Business Awards by organizations in more than 60 nations and territories, for consideration in a wide range of categories. These categories included: New Product or Service of the Year, Most Innovative Company of the Year, Management Team of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Startup of the Year and Executive of the Year, among others.
