McGrath Estate Agents today announced Stephen Bock has joined its company owned sales team on Sydney’s northern beaches, specialising in the key suburbs of Manly, Fairlight, Balgowlah, Balgowlah Heights and Forestville.
Mr Bock brings with him more than 18 years of sales experience and has sold close to $1 billion dollars in real estate over his career. He returns to McGrath, having previously worked at the company’s Manly office ten years ago.

Commenting on the local market, Mr Bock said “The northern beaches continues to be one of Sydney’s most dynamic markets. The area has experienced healthy and sustained growth over the past five years, with strong demand from out-of-area buyers attracted to the northern beaches lifestyle. Demand from local and overseas investors has been robust, although new restrictions on lending to investors has subdued this buyer group within the past 12 months.
“While I anticipate a strong Spring selling season, price growth will likely begin to slow down. However new infrastructure, such as the Northern Beaches hospital, will continue to drive demand and ensure the northern beaches is high on peoples wish list of areas to live.”
An avid mountaineer, Mr Bock is the 61st Australian to summit Mount Everest and is currently pursuing the ‘Explorers Grand Slam’ – climbing the highest peak on each continent and travelling to both the North and South Pole.
