REA Group named one of Australia’s best places to work

REA Group has been named one of the best places to work in Australia for the second year in a row, according to the latest LinkedIn Top Companies list.

LinkedIn yesterday announced the top 25 companies where Australians would love to work the most, based on an analysis of consumer behaviour to the professional networking site.

Ranked 16th, REA Group has been the only company featured from both the digital and media industries two years running and is also the smallest company to make the list.

Commenting on the achievement, REA Group CEO Tracey Fellows said, “I’m really proud to see REA Group included on this list again this year. People are what make REA such a special place and attracting the right talent is critical, particularly as we expand globally.

“This is a fantastic recognition of the great benefits, culture and opportunities we offer.”

REA Group Executive General Manager of People & Culture, Barb Hyman, said that REA Group’s inclusion in this ranking is a testament to the power of a strong culture.

“Our people really believe in what we do and they want to make a difference for every player and participant in the property ecosystem.

“One of the great things about REA Group is that we think big and way beyond our own walls, we have a culture of trust that makes it OK to mess it up and try again next time. With this mentality throughout the business, our people love coming to work each day and also act as our greatest brand ambassadors outside our doors.

“We know that it takes a village to raise a child, which is how it feels here every day in our global village of over 1300 people. Everyone takes a hands-on approach and are looking to make a difference – whether that’s to their teams, their customers, or their community. It’s a really great feeling to be recognised for that.”
