Ray White opens in Swansea, NSW

New business owner Troy McLennan of Ray White Swansea is so excited he’s just opened his doors in the coastal beachside community south of Newcastle.

Mr McLennan starting his journey in real estate five years ago, after working for a national retailer for more than 14 years, managing and training teams to become top tier performers in both customer service and sales.

“Although it happened rather fast, moving from sales to a leadership role was a natural progression for me within the industry, and I am excited to help more of our clients with new ideas and offer an even greater focus on customer service with our new office,” he said.

“I know Ray White helps other people to reach their dreams and the brand has so far lived up to my expectations.”

Ray White NSW chairman Stephen Nell said it was wonderful to welcome new business owners, particularly in such a beautiful part of the state where Swansea is at the entrance to Lake Macquarie.

“The local community, with around 5000 homes, has shown a lot of potential with more to come. It’s the sort of lifestyle location that many people aspire to live, play, work or retire in to. It’s got it all,” he said.

“No doubt Troy and his team will serve this community well and we look forward to supporting him and his ambitions.”

Mr McLennan agreed there was a brilliant small town culture within the Swansea community setting it apart from the hustle of nearby Newcastle.

“The demographic is changing and accommodating a wider range of people with properties ranging from $400,000 into the millions for a home with a view,” Mr McLennan said.

“My wife Amy and I ended up falling in love with the area and have been here for 10 years now,” he said, with their baby son Hudson.

Ray White Swansea is open at 104a Pacific Highway, Swansea and is situated in an ideal location, near local cafes and in the heart of the community.

“We are close enough to the water to throw a rod in,” he said with a chuckle.

“I am looking to deliver higher industry standards to improve our agents reputations and work harder for our community to deliver them even greater results. We plan to showcase our clients properties across all forms of media ranging from analogue print to digital media and radio.”

The Ray White Swansea team will initially consist of a qualified and highly regarded support team alongside Mr McLennan to ensure the best customer service is delivered, with an active eye for new talent eager to fulfill their real estate dreams.
