PropertyWise, a specialist property management business in Launceston, has been nominated as one of 17 finalists in Tasmania, in the 2017 Telstra Business Awards in the New Business category.
In only its second year of operation, Property Wise Director Sally Shaw says that “Our clients interact with us as business owners of Property Wise Launceston however also as investors ourselves. We know what it is like to be in our investor’s shoes and we want to do our best to maximise returns for the investors, ensuring we are assisting in helping them achieve their property/financial goals, whilst providing quality homes for our tenants to live in.”
The finalist announcement was an unexpected honour for Sally and property manager Celeste Adkins as the objective of entering was to take advantage of the comprehensive health check that Telstra offers to all entrants.
“To have received the health check was a win in itself and we have learnt so much from the process. As we progressed to become short listed, met with the judges for a site visit and then finally the awards dinner, it has been one of our proudest moments in business. As we have taken the time to reflect on the process, it has been truly humbling.”
“Celeste and I are so passionate about our industry and we both strive to ensure we are always providing a quality product and client experience that improves the overall perception of our industry. Bricks and mortar are wonderful investments to have if managed professionally and to quality standards. To be specialists in our chosen field with collectively 19 years experience between us, we are excited for the future of Property Wise Launceston.”
In looking at what it takes to achieve that level of recognition, with a business still in its infancy, Sally says that “As a new business, growth is always at the forefront of our mind, however, our growth to date, has been 100% repeat or referral basis which is what has made our business model so successful.”
“We are so thankful for the opportunity to have been a finalist of such prestigious awards, in only our second year of business. We are grateful for the experience and the networking opportunity and new connections that have already allowed additional doors to open for us.”
