Over 350 Delegates Attend First National Real Estate Convention

Independent real estate network, First National Real Estate, opened its 2018 National Convention at the RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast yesterday. Over 350 estate agents are attending from Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Former AFL footballer Simon Madden, Paralympic gold medallist Dylan Alcott OAM and current world ironwoman champion Harriet Brown were at the centre of a rousing outdoor opening function where sustainable peak performance, becoming the best version of yourself, and, discipline, determination and resilience were the focus.

Subsequently, network chief executive Ray Ellis addressed delegates about the industry, economy and future outlook of the network, as well as internal initiatives covering technology, systems, and customer satisfaction.

Delegates have over 36 workshops and break out sessions to choose from including highlights such as the neuroscience of leading teams (Cameron Webb), sales psychology (Pancho Mehrotra); virtual assistants, personal branding and social media (Jamie Buttigieg), cyber security (Daniel Borin), risk management, becoming a storybrand agency, overcoming camera shyness (Sue Moses), plus numerous sales, property management and commercial sessions.

During the Convention, the network’s national General Excellence and Marketing Award winners of 2017 will be announced and the top 10 offices and salespeople in attendance will win an all expenses paid study tour to the National Association of Realtors conference in Boston this October.
