November additions complete LJ Hooker’s spring dozen

LJ Hooker will welcome four new agencies to its network over November, taking its overall spring intake to 12 new operations across Australia.

Queensland accounts for half of the new additions in November. Catering to the inner-city regeneration of Queensland’s capital, LJ Hooker Brisbane City Residential will begin trading this month, led by long-term brand leader and commercial property expert, Ben Armstrong.

In Far North Queensland, well-known, local real estate specialist Craig Gillard has rebranded his independent agency as LJ Hooker Trinity Beach | Palm Cove, and has also purchased the neighbouring LJ Hooker Cairns Marlin Coast business as part of a major investment.

Another long-term brand advocate, Nicholas Breadman, is adding to his existing eastern Sydney operations (LJ Hooker Bondi Beach) by offering a new LJ Hooker Bondi Junction | Charing Cross real estate service.

LJ Hooker has also opened in Melbourne’s northern growth corridor at Epping.

LJ Hooker Head of Network Development, Ben Mitchell, said the new additions completed an active spring season for the brand, nationally.

“These new businesses take the tally to a dozen new offices joining LJ Hooker over the spring selling season,” said Mr Mitchell.

“The calibre of business owners to have joined the brand and the fundamentals of the markets we’re entering perfectly aligns with our growth strategy. We’ve also had several business operators buy into the success of existing agencies.

“We’re already preparing to extend our market presence in 2018 with several business owners eager to be part of our growth pipeline.”

Complementing four new offices opening in November, LJ Hooker’s other new spring additions included Nowra, Dapto, Rockdale, Wauchope and LJ Hooker Commercial St George (New South Wales), Plympton (South Australia), Grantville (Victoria) and Mermaid Beach (Queensland).

LJ Hooker Network Chief Graeme Hyde said the network’s growth highlighted the attraction of the franchise offering and the brand’s position in the marketplace.

“And while we’re attracting very smart operators to our network, one of the very pleasing elements of our growth strategy has been the willingness of long-time LJ Hooker specialists like Nicholas (Breadman) and Ben (Armstrong) to increase their investment in our vision by taking the brand into new markets,” said Mr Hyde.
