LJ Hooker continues it’s first half expansion

Major National Franchise LJ Hooker say they are positioned to carry quarterly growth into the new Financial Year with a succession of new office openings flagged before July 1.

Since January 1 this year, LJ Hooker has welcomed new offices in Wollongong, West Pennant Hills/Cherrybrook, Medowie and Hornsby in New South Wales, Gympie in Southern Queensland, while North Haven/Port Adelaide added to its South Australian network, and say they have a pipeline of offices in major and emerging markets planned to open before July 1.

LJ Hooker’s Network Chief Graeme Hyde said the brand was looking forward to significant expansion over 2017 and beyond.

“LJ Hooker’s 2020 vision, which will transform office productivity levels and make Australia the best serviced real estate sector internationally, is resonating with current and future business owners,” said Mr Hyde.

“We have a strong pipeline of new business owners planning to join the brand to be part of our unique journey.”

Adelaide and wider South Australia has been identified as a key growth opportunity for LJ Hooker with the network appointing recruitment specialist Lynn Jeremy to the state team.

Mrs Jeremy arrives at LJ Hooker with more than two decades of success in retailing. Mrs Jeremy most recently headed recruitment, operations and human resources with the national fashion/apparel industry.

Mrs Jeremy said she was excited to join the iconic LJ Hooker brand.

“I was particularly excited in joining LJ Hooker as it has a culture of customer-centric values and employee engagement which align with my own aspirations,” Mrs Jeremy said.

In South Australia LJ Hooker North Haven/Port Adelaide is uniquely bringing together two important lifestyle assets – residential homes and recreational boats.

LJ Hooker North Haven/Port Adelaide co-principals Graeme Haese and Rob Robinson are offering a ‘one-stop shop’ for customers looking to buy or sell boats, berths and homes across Adelaide.

“We’re offering the whole marine package lifestyle in a part of Adelaide that has undergone significant waterfront redevelopment,” said Mr Haese. “There is also a lot of marine activity in the area with the contract work for the new warships and submarines in the city, and that’s driving both investor and owner-occupier interest.

“There’s also around 50,000 registered recreational boating craft in South Australia, so it’s a popular lifestyle choice and one which we can combine with LJ Hooker’s residential property network.”
