Laing+Simmons Secures CBD / Surry Hills & Narrabeen Offices

Laing+Simmons has recently secured two new offices to its network and setting its sights on further growth this year.

New franchise offices in Sydney CBD / Surry Hills and Narrabeen have just joined the three new Laing+Simmons offices which opened earlier this year in Ryde, Seven Hills and Cronulla – taking the boutique network to 42 offices and growing.

Laing+Simmons is on track to reach the milestone of 50 offices in New South Wales this financial year, ensuring it maintains its boutique tag while growing at an above industry average rate.

Head of Growth David Robinson said the five new offices that have opened in 2016 represent a growth rate of 15% – a very strong result in the current climate and a testament to the company’s emphasis on empowering agents.

“The growth we’ve achieved in recent times is especially pleasing in the context that our expansion plan has never been about growth for growth’s sake,” Mr Robinson said.

“For us, it’s all about the right fit. We value local knowledge and expertise, our brand is designed to resonate at the local level, and we want to partner with people who are passionate about serving their local community.

“Importantly, we’ve been able to demonstrate the Laing+Simmons point of difference to some of the best local operators in key markets around Greater Sydney, from the Shire to the Northern Beaches, and in western Sydney as well.

“The establishment of Laing+Simmons Narrabeen helps cement our position on the Northern Beaches, building on the success of our Dee Why office which opened in 2015, while our new CBD presence is ideally timed to take advantage of increased demand for city-living and the high profile residential conversions underway,” Mr Robinson said.

Laing+Simmons Managing Director Leanne Pilkington identified the company’s investment in innovation, recruitment services, training and development initiatives, employee assistance programs and a dedicated project marketing function to support franchisees’ business development as key points of difference.

“Our growth plan has been structured to support real estate professionals in ways that they most need and is guided by the principle that agents must be empowered to do what they do best,” Ms Pilkington said.

“So we innovate to provide tools and systems that are easy to use, save time and have the flexibility to provide a broad scope of solutions to agents on the go. We listen to what our people tell us and invest in programs that we know will generate a tangible benefit.

“Our focus is on empowering franchisees and supporting them as they build an asset for their future. By aligning our success with theirs, we promote sustainable growth for our network offices as well as for Laing+Simmons as a franchisor.
