Agent recognised for going ‘above and beyond’ for his community

Barry Plant Manningham agent Orlando Petruccelli has proved it’s more than just sales that motivate him, he’s been commended for his dedication and spirit by his office and community.

A recent surprise birthday celebration for a vendor going through a tough time is a great example of the lengths Mr Petruccelli will go to for his clients, and the wider Manningham community.

The vendor, who was celebrating his 80th birthday, was surprised at his home with a cake and a choir of around 30 Barry Plant agents, organised by Mr Petruccelli, who sung him a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday.

Another client experienced Mr Petruccelli’s dedication when they were unable to undertake gardening prior to their sale, and Mr Petruccelli arrived with his own yard tools to complete the gardening and maintenance.

“Surprising a client on their 80th birthday or offering to pitch in with tidying up the yard of another client are exactly the sort of thoughtful actions we have come to know from Orlando,” said Barry Plant Manningham director, Spiro Drossos.

“Not only does Orlando take his commitment to our customers to new heights but his actions also demonstrate a genuine commitment to our local community,” he said.

Mr Petruccelli takes it all in his stride, and believes his dedication is just part of the job.

“I really love my job, as a real estate transaction can often be an emotional time for people but it is also a chance for me to make a difference,” said Mr Petruccelli.

“I love the sense of community in the Manningham area and while I’m only one person, it’s the small actions of individuals that all add up to make this a great area to live and work.”
