Matt Lancashire: a merger with a mate and bold ambition to open 10 offices in 10 years

BRISBANE real estate identities Matt Lancashire and Haesley Cush have joined forces once again to grow the Ray White brand in Brisbane.

The dynamic duo have been friends for 30 years and are now on a mission to create multiple offices under the Ray White banner.

While originally the owner of Ray White New Farm Cush sold the Ray White New Farm sales business to Lancashire in 2012; keeping the rent roll and subsequently opening two Living Here businesses. Now they are joining the businesses back together as partners with big plans to grow, aiming to double their joint revenue in the next three years. “We are on an aggressive growth path. We will have 10 offices in the next 10 years,” the duo said.

“We are not going to be shy about our plan, we will attract the best agents and win more work than any other agency in Brisbane. We have the skills, the contacts and the confidence to take our business to the next level. We have a road map, a plan and the support of the Ray White Group.”

The duo’s bold goal is to have 10,000 properties under management by 2028, 10 offices and 100+ high performing sales agents working with them.

In the five years since Mr Lancashire has owned Ray White New Farm he doubled the sales business to $400 million. Mr Lancashire has sold more than $100 million personally this financial year.

Ray White Queensland CEO Tony Warland supports their plan for a new multi-layered one- stop shop for buyers and sellers in Brisbane.

“Haesley and Matt are a winning combination. They are not shy of hard work and know how to market all properties in all price points. I love their energy and enthusiasm.

Mr Lancashire and Mr Cush both attended St Laurence’s College and found themselves in real estate after school.

“The reason for the merger is to create a multiple office network within the Ray White Group,” Mr Cush said.

“We both have an extremely tight relationship with the White Family and believe that partnering with the Whites, while driving our own businesses will be able to offer our clients and staff the support and exposure unable to be offered by any other real estate group”.
