Change in Leadership for top Sydney Raine & Horne Office

Leading Eastern Suburbs real estate business, Raine & Horne Double Bay-Bondi Beach, has announced a new direction for the business, with business owners Barry and Mark Goldman making the move to luxury brand Sotheby’s. Principals Ric Serrao and Martin Maskin will form the new streamlined management team at Raine & Horne Double Bay/Bondi Beach.

Since 2001, the Raine & Horne Double Bay business has been owned by brothers Barry and Mark Goldman, with Bondi Beach added in 2012. In the last 15 years, the group has regularly been Top Office in the network for sales, auctions and commission generated.

When asked about the move which included the sale of the business, Barry Goldman says it was time for a change, to ‘simplify’ and get back to what the team love best, listing and selling. “We are definitely excited about our future, selling premier property with a brand like Sotheby’s; it has a true luxury, international flavour to it.”

Also commenting on the move, Mr Goldman said, “We wish the new management team [of Raine & Horne Double Bay] well, this is a great move for all parties and consolidated leadership under Ric and the team will be a really positive thing moving into the future.”

On the Raine & Horne side, Mr Serrao also outlined the continued combined strength of the two offices, which boast over 60 staff.

“Martin and myself have over 50 years combined experience in Eastern Suburbs real estate, and I believe this market knowledge and the hard work of our exceptional team will see Raine & Horne Double Bay-Bondi Beach continue to dominate for a long time,” said Mr Serrao.

“These management changes will ensure we’re in the best position possible to take our business forward, while at the same time continuing to provide the same high level of service that our reputation is built on,” added Mr Maskin.

“Having such a large and multi-talented team makes us a force to be reckoned with when it comes to servicing the needs of our clients, who stretch all the way from Point Piper to Bronte.”

“Our team also work across a diverse range of property including development sites, apartment blocks, waterfronts and prestige homes,” noted Mr Serrao.

“The other significant part of our business is property management, with our 12-strong property management team forming a formidable unit who are ready to meet the needs of tenants and landlords across the Eastern Suburbs.”
