First National supports community by renewing Wildcats partnership

First National Real Estate and the Perth Wildcats have extended their long term partnership for at least another three seasons.

Since 2012, First National has been the Perth Wildcats partner, dedicated to promoting the value of teamwork and supporting the local community.

Two-time championship head coach Trevor Gleeson has also re-signed up with the Wildcats for three more seasons.

First National chief executive Ray Ellis says he is thrilled to continue the partnership, particularly when it comes to promoting competitive spirit.

“As Australia’s leading network of real estate agents, we’re committed to supporting the communities in which our agents operate on a range of fronts,” Ellis says.

“Teaching kids the virtues of good sportsmanship is integral to their understanding of community and the value of teamwork.  That is why we believe so strongly in promoting competitive spirit and fairness that the Perth Wildcats represent.”

The Wildcats coaching staff will proudly wear the First National logo on their polo shirts, training t-shirts and jackets; and it will shine on Trevor Gleeson’s whiteboard during timeouts, and light up with courtside LED signage at home games. First National will also have the opportunity to enlist players for promotions and community engagement initiatives.

Wildcats managing director Nick Marvin says of the partnership, “Continuity has been a big factor in our club’s success in recent years, both on and off the court, so it’s great to see one of our most important partner’s back on board. Consistent support from the likes of First National Real Estate allows us to peruse excellence, which is very important to this organisation.”
