Raine & Horne continues its Queensland growth with new Greenbank location

Raine & Horne has launched a new office in Greenbank after agreeing to terms with Margaret McFillin from leading local independent real estate firm, Greenbank Real Estate.

Raine & Horne Greenbank, located in the Logan City region south of Brisbane, will operate from the existing office at Shop 2, Greenbank Shopping Centre, 15 Pub Lane, Greenbank and will continue to service the growing Greenbank market and its surrounds.

The office increases Raine & Horne’s significant presence in the region, joining Raine & Horne Logan City, Raine & Horne Springwood, Raine & Horne Beenleigh and Raine & Horne Shailer Park.

Ms McFillin has lived in the Greenbank area for 21 years and it’s her local knowledge that has been the driving force behind her success.

“Being a part of the community means that I take an active interest in the property market, not just from an agency perspective but also as a local resident. My team and I have the local knowledge and experience to really understand the unique aspects of buying and selling property in the Greenbank area.

“We’re known for our personalised service that goes the extra mile and that will continue under the new brand.”

Greenbank’s proximity to Brisbane and the Gold Coast is crucial to the region’s popularity according to Ms McFillin.

“Being one of the few locations to the south of Brisbane where you can still purchase acreage means we’ve seen strong demand from the Brisbane and Gold Coast communities. We’re incredibly close to major infrastructure such as the main freeway and railway networks.

“Many of our clients are looking for something that’s still close to the metropolitan area, but gives them the ability to live a more relaxed lifestyle with space to grow and expand.”

Ms McFillin, who started in real estate in 2003, said meeting with the Raine & Horne team made it an easy decision to join the famous charcoal and gold colours.

“Raine & Horne is a strong, recognisable real estate brand and it was immediately attractive to me,” she said. “When I met the Raine & Horne team they filled me with confidence that this was the right direction for our business. Being the first Raine & Horne office in the area was another attraction.

“I’ve dealt regularly with Business Support and Development Manager Sheryl Turnell, who really helped in making the transition as seamless as possible. We’re really looking forward to working with the wider Raine & Horne team.

“We have a strong plan in place to expand our business and this move will assist us in driving our growth. We’re hiring new talent from the local area and aim to expand our coverage in Greenbank and the surrounding area. We’re excited to be partnering with Raine & Horne for the journey.”

Angus Raine, Executive Chairman, Raine & Horne is delighted that Ms McFIllin has made the switch to the 133-year-old, family owned and operated business.

“Margaret has lived and worked in the Greenbank area for a long period of time and her knowledge of the local real estate market is second to none,” said Mr Raine.

“That experience, coupled with her record of being the leading sales agent in the district, means Raine & Horne Greenbank is well positioned to continue Margaret’s success.
